The Waverly Senior Center is proud to partner with the Waverly Exchange Club for the February 506 Café, being held curbside from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8 at the Waverly Senior Center.
Simply drive into the senior center parking lot, pay the $10, and the homemade hot lunch will be delivered to your car. Profits from this homemade breakfast will support the programming of both organizations. Please call your reservations at 352-5678 by 3 p.m. Friday, February 4.
The menu for February 8 consists of a bowl of chili, a hot ham and cheese sandwich, a garden salad with dressing, a strawberry pretzel dessert and a bottle of chilled water .
“We appreciate the continued support of 506 Café by members of the community,” said Cynthia Campbell, Chair of the Senior Center Board of Directors. “Without this support, we would not be able to provide the centre’s valuable programs to our wonderful seniors or donate a percentage of proceeds to our non-profit partner.
Doran Butschi, spokesperson for the Waverly Exchange Club, said, “Partnering with the January Café has been very rewarding, and we look forward to being the nonprofit recipient of funds raised at February’s 506 Café once again. . The board and staff of the Waverly Senior Center are dedicated to providing a hot meal to members of the community.
The remaining dates for 506 Café in 2022 are: March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8 and December 13.
