A man from Milton recently gave back to his favorite restaurant, leaving big tips for all of his employees.
MILTON, PA – Randall’s West Branch Eatery is a popular spot along Highway 405 in Milton. But like many other restaurants, weathering the COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult.
” We fought. We had our challenges, but we are doing well, ”said owner Randall Clemens.
Clemens says his restaurant is fortunate to have a lot of loyal customers like Justin Baker.
“Good place, great food, great staff, everyone is really good here,” Baker said.
Recently, Baker decided he wanted to give back to his favorite restaurant.
“As I was going out, I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to do something,'” Baker said.
Baker dismissed one of the employees.
“He gave her a note. He gave her a blank check, and it was specified in the note that he wanted to give each employee $ 100,” Clemens said.
Baker donated $ 100 to each of the 11 employees.
In addition to helping the employees, Justin also donated $ 600 to the restaurant for new equipment.
“The donation he gave me has enabled us to purchase new charcoal, and we will be installing it soon. It will make it much easier for the cooks,” said Clemens.
So why did Baker give all this money? He said it was obvious.
“I’m grateful to have had a job during the pandemic, and I’m grateful to be in a position that I can give back,” Baker said.
“It’s amazing. I can’t imagine it. No one has ever done anything like this for me, and it’s great,” said Clemens.
And Baker didn’t stop there. He also helped a few other nearby businesses with donations.
