Fun monster is a new weekly humorous anthology published in April 2022 by Rebellion, the publisher of 2000AD. This will be the first brand new children’s comic book in the UK for 30 years. The release of a new British comic is a big deal. The first issue will debut in April 2022, with new issues every two months – perfectly designed for holiday entertainment, whether it’s Easter, Midterm, Summer or Halloween!
In each issue, young readers will be laughing at all the new adventures of familiar faces such as Sweeny toddler, Frankie stein, Lime Street Leopard, and Draculous. At a time, new stories like Tokoloche, the angel of hell, and Fear Fair will quickly become favorites thanks to talents like Juni Ba (Monkey Meat), Robin Etherington (half of the Etherington brothers (How to think when you draw, the world’s most successful crowd-funded art and writing tutorial series), Matt Baxter (The Phoenix), and children’s comic book legends like Tom Paterson (The Beano).
And it all starts this Halloween with the 48 pages Monster Fun Halloween Spooktacular Special problem! Released on October 6 at newsagents, comic bookstores and trÃ©sordebritishcomics.com, Britain’s craziest anthology returns from the afterlife with plenty of new HELL comics that will have you roaring with laughter, including Gums, Hire a horror, Kid Kong, Teddy scared, Wizarding war and a devilish host of new scares!

One of hundreds of classic comic book properties now owned by Rebellion, Fun monster was a weekly British comic book magazine aimed at children aged seven to twelve. Published by IPC Media, it ran for 73 issues in 1975-1976, before merging with the title Brother guy.
The 32-page bimonthly title isn’t just Rebellion’s first all-new title since acquiring the legendary 2000 AD in 2000, but also the first to draw inspiration from his classic comic book archives.
