The West Bank Cafe features Sean Patrick Murtagh and Micah Young in their first live, in-person performance since early 2020.
The uptown duo are back and perform in the bustling heart of Midtown at this legendary venue. Murtagh and Young’s friendship and camaraderie grew stronger throughout the pandemic as they encouraged each other to stay musical, stay creative, and stay hopeful. They put on an evening of Broadway classics, boleros, Neapolitans and more to cheer you up and get you carried away.
Filming begins Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., following Michael Garin and Mardie Millit.

Sean Patrick Murtagh is the recipient of the 2020 MAC Award for Best First Man for his tribute, Mario! A tribute to the great Lanza. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sean Patrick’s works have been seen coast to coast, on stage and on screen, from Broadway to intimate nightclubs. On television and in film, Sean Patrick’s work includes Investigation Discovery Channel’s HOMICIDE CITY: Philly, The Bachelors of Broken Hill Farm, Barrio Boy and NIGHT DISCLOSURES, directed and produced by AJ Mattioli. It was nominated for 3 2020 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards Best Regularly Broadcast Live Music Show for the Pantsless Living Room concert series. Currently, Sean Patrick presents his new concert series: THE MARIO 100! A year-long concert series in honor of Mario Lanza’s centenary live on Facebook. Micah Young is an award-winning music director and composer. He has worked extensively on Broadway, directing the original Tony Award Winning Best Musical production, Spring Awakening as well as appearing in numerous Broadway Pits including, Mary Poppins; Mom Mia; Chicago; Promises, Promises; Porgy & Bess; Cinderella; Goodbye, goodbye Birdie! ; and white Christmas. Most recently, he led the Tony Award Best Musical Fun Home National Tour. He received the Best Music Director award at the New York Theater Festival for Crossing Swords, as well as the Pageant Music Director (Off-Broadway) nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. Micah studied at the BMI Workshop in New York. His work has been commissioned by Miracle House in New York, The Flea Theater, and the Ma-Yi Theater Company. His original musical, Bea & Ben, received a workshop at Coastal Carolina University, as well as Barrington Stages. Education: Manhattan School of Music, Interlochen Arts Academy.
