VALLEJO, Calif. (KRON) – Police in Vallejo are investigating Friday night after another fatal shooting in the city.
A popular restaurant was closed after a man was shot dead in the parking lot.

The horrific scene unfolded in the parking lot of a Black Bear Diner on Thursday afternoon.
The unidentified man is now the 12th homicide victim in Vallejo this year, and police are trying to find out who committed it.
Surveillance video captured an armed man opening fire on a car in the parking lot of a restaurant.
The shooter uses an AK-47 style weapon to unleash a series of shots before returning to the getaway car and taking off.
Vallejo PD spokeswoman Brittany K. Jackson said the victim was a 38-year-old man from Richmond.
A makeshift memorial was seen on Friday where the man sat in a Toyota Prius before being shot.
It comes after another man in his twenties was killed the day before on Hillborn Street.
Police continue to examine video captured by cameras from the Black Bear Diner overlooking the parking lot.
The restaurant along Admiral Callaghan Lane has signs posted in the windows offering condolences and advising customers of a temporary closure.
The restaurant will be closed until Monday, September 20.
The police are still looking for information about what happened.
So far, no suspect has been arrested.
