The secret Dairy Queen menu item that’s all about the nuggets

Call them nuggets, jimmies or “hagelslag”, nuggets make everything better! Thanks to a TikTok video from staff at a Dairy Queen in Warrensburg, Mo., sprinkle fans are now craving a secret new menu option that has left social media users in awe: an ice cream cone rainbow dipped in chocolate.

Since this item is not on the menu, there is a strategy for ordering it from your local DQ that also applies to secret menu items from other fast food chains. According to Taste of Home, start by being polite and avoid ordering specialty items when there’s a long line and the restaurant is busy. For the sprinkling cone, start by asking for a chocolate dipped cone with vanilla ice cream as you normally would. Then describe to the waiter how you would like to modify the order by adding, “Would you mind taking a long spoon to dig a hole in the center of the ice cream cone?” Ask the server to then fill the core with sprinkles (or any little candy you like) before topping the cone with more ice cream to hold the candy in place. Finally, the cone can be dipped in chocolate before being tasted.

Since this item takes longer to create than usual, don’t be too worried (or too sad) if the staff refuses to do so.
