Two more restaurant closures hit the Wichita dining scene

Wichita has seen a few more restaurant closings in the past month. Let’s go.

Local Tacos – 2721 Central Avenue E
The taco restaurant located in Revolutsia and had pop-ups all over town, including the Old Town Farm and Art Market closed starting this weekend. With the owners moving to Texas, they made the decision to permanently close the restaurant.

I will always remember the first time I tried their tacos. It was instant love and soon after I was on a judging panel that awarded them Best Taco at Taco Fest.

Our family meal – 1606 S Georgetown St.
The all-you-can-eat buffet that took over Furr’s family dining space is now closed, citing rising food costs.

And finally, not really a restaurant, but a home-based business found on DoorDash called Chloe’s kitchen seems to be bankrupt. They served ramen, salad and other random dishes. Their listing has been removed from the delivery service. The company got a lot of attention for posting photos of their food using photos with cigarette ashtrays in the background and photos found elsewhere on the internet.
